GSS Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction & Acceptance

  • This Acceptable Use Policy sets out rules governing the use of the GSS websites and related digital services (collectively, the “Site”).
  • By accessing or using our Site, you confirm that you accept this policy and agree to comply with it. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site.
  • This policy is in addition to (and does not replace) our Terms of Use / Website Terms, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable terms.

Permitted Use & Compliance with Law

  • You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with this policy and all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • You must not use the Site:
  • ⦁ In violation of any applicable law or regulation.
    ⦁ For any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
    ⦁ To transmit, upload, or post content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
    ⦁ To upload or transmit viruses, malware, spyware, or any malicious code.
    ⦁ To spam, send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials.
    ⦁ To interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Site or its infrastructure.
    ⦁ To gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, data, systems, or networks.
    ⦁ To reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the Site except as permitted by our terms.
    ⦁ To impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
    ⦁ To harass, abuse, or harm another individual or infringe their rights.

Interactive Services & User Contributions

  • From time to time, the Site may provide interactive features (e.g. forums, comment sections, chat rooms, message boards) (the “Interactive Services”).
  • If you post content (a “Contribution”) through Interactive Services:
  • ⦁ You consent to our use, reproduction, modification, and public display of your Contribution in accordance with our Terms & Privacy Policy.
    ⦁ Your Contribution must obey the Content Standards set out in Section 5 below.

  • Moderation
  • ⦁ We may moderate, review, refuse, move or remove any Contribution for any reason (including if it breaches this policy).
    ⦁ We are not obligated to monitor all Contributions, but we may do so and may remove access or content in violation.
    ⦁ If you believe a Contribution should be removed, you may contact us at technical-support@gss-training.com with evidence.

  • Minors :
  • ⦁ If you are under the age of 18 (or your local age of majority), you must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using Interactive Services.
    ⦁ We advise guardians to supervise minors’ online activity, as moderation is not perfect.

Content Standards (Contributions Must Not)

  • Your Contributions must not:
  • ⦁ Be defamatory, false, misleading or fraudulent.
    ⦁ Be obscene, sexually explicit, or pornographic.
    ⦁ Promote violence, terrorism, or illegal behavior.
    ⦁ Express hate, discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
    ⦁ Infringe any intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, database rights).
    ⦁ Violate any confidentiality or privacy rights or disclose personal data of others.
    ⦁ Encourage or facilitate crime, hacking, or mischief.
    ⦁ Contain unsolicited advertising, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
    ⦁ Include software viruses or harmful code.
    ⦁ Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
    ⦁ Contain links to external sites that facilitate or promote the above prohibited content.

Enforcement & Consequences

  • If we determine (at our discretion) that you have breached this policy, we may:
  • ⦁ Suspend or terminate your access to the Site (temporarily or permanently).
    ⦁ Remove or refuse any Contributions you posted.
    ⦁ Issue you a warning.
    ⦁ Recover costs, damages, or legal fees from you.
    ⦁ Report offending users or content to law enforcement or authorities.

  • We exclude liability for any actions we take in enforcing this policy, and the actions listed above are not exhaustive.

7. INDEMNITY

  • The Company shall indemnify the Client or Training Broker against any claim for death or personal injury without limit caused by the negligence or breach of statutory duty of the Company, its servants or agents.

Changes to the Policy

  • We may amend this policy at any time. The version posted on the Site will indicate a “Last updated” date. You should review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates acceptance of the amended terms.

Law & Jurisdiction

  • For users in the UK, the policy and any disputes shall be governed by English law, and the courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction (unless local rights permit otherwise).
  • For users in India, Qatar, or other jurisdictions, we may also be subject to local laws; where local law gives you rights you cannot waive, those will apply.
  • Where applicable non-UK users may bring claims in their local courts if required by law.
